Revcast integrates with your Salesforce CRM instance to pull data including Sales & Pipeline actuals from Sales Opportunities. In order to properly maintain the integration with regular updates of new data and updates, you should make sure to configure the Refresh Token Policy properly and re-launch the Revcast - Salesforce integration. There are two steps:

  1. Set the refresh token policy within your Salesforce instance for the integrated Revcast app
  2. Re-authenticate Revcast with Salesforce from within Revcast

Set Refresh Token Policy in Salesforce

  1. As an admin in Salesforce, log in and head to the “Setup” section.

  2. On the left-hand navigation, under “Platform Tools”, click “Apps” → “Connected Apps” → Manage Connected Apps”

  3. Find the “Revcast” app in the list and click “Edit”

  4. Under “OAuth Policies”, set “IP Relaxation” to “Relax IP restrictions” and “Refresh Token Policy” to “Refresh token is valid until revoked”

  5. Click “Save” at the bottom of the screen


Re-Authenticate Salesforce with Revcast

You must be a Salesforce user with proper permissions to set-up third-party app integrations.

  1. Log in to Revcast and head to the “Settings” page

  2. Click “Integrations” → “Salesforce Opportunities”

  3. Click the blue “Reconfigure” button

  4. When the container loads, click the blue “Next →” button

  5. Click “Disconnect”

  7. Confirm authentication with Salesforce
