This month we want to spend some time talking about where Revcast is headed and our philosophy behind some of the changes we're making. Revcast's vision has always been to support full capacity planning within a revenue organization. Over the coming months we'll begin rolling out new features under this umbrella.
As we move to support Employee Types beyond quota carrying sales reps, we'll be updating some of our in-app terminology. Transitioning from Reps to Employees enables customers to model and plan capacity for all roles within the revenue organization, starting with Pipeline Capacity.
Soon, you'll be able to designate different Employee Types (e.g. Senior vs. Junior AEs, Marketing Managers, BDRs, non-quota carrying roles) and specify their team affiliations. This will allow for more accurate budgeting against roles that carry different sales or pipeline quotas within a single team. Watch for this update to go live around the end of the year.
This month, we launched several UI/UX enhancements for Revcast, focusing on improving its intuitiveness and user-friendliness. Notably, Revenue Targets, Attainment, Pipeline, and other critical KPIs will stay visible on the Budget screen as you scroll and update team details, providing instant insight into top-line impacts without the need to scroll back and forth. Furthermore, our side navigation panel is now collapsible, maximizing your screen space.
